The Board of
Medina County Commissioners seeks a Transit Director to manage
overall operation of the Medina County Public Transit system.
Under general supervision from the County Administrator,
exercises full supervisory authority over all Transit operations
including; personnel/labor relations, organizes, directs and coordinates
service contracts, fleet acquisition and operations, financial planning
and grant administration. Must possess strong interpersonal skills.
Candidates must be knowledgeable in grant writing and alternative funding
methods. Ability to demonstrate successful marketing and planning
Bachelorís degree in public or business administration
or a related field. A minimum
of six years of executive level experience in public or private transit
systems management, including experience in operations, planning and
supervisory responsibility. Medicaid
certified preferred. Valid Ohio Driverís license.
The successful candidate will be required to pass a background
check and drug screen.
