Seeking entry level probation
officer to conduct probation investigations and prepare recommendations to
the court based upon investigative results; effectively supervise a
caseload of felony offenders while ensuring compliance with terms and
conditions of supervision; solid written and oral communication skills and
an ability to attend probation violation court hearings a must.
Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited four-year university, with a degree
in criminal justice, psychology or sociology.
Completion of an internship preferred.

Full-Time
The Medina County
Board of Commissioners seek a full-time RN for their Medina County
Home.
Responsibilities: The RN
reports directly to the County Home Superintendent.
Performs and oversees all direct care to the patients, including
assessing the patient’s health, administering medication to the patients,
coordinating and review all lab work and providing reports to
superintendent daily. Keeps
documents of all assigned patients and reports to the appropriate person
at shift change. Oversees
licensed practical nurses.
Keeps equipment and supplies in a neat and organized manner, cleans and
disposes of equipment and supplies properly after use.
Assists patients’ family members with concern and empathy.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited
school
of
Nursing
holding a valid registration as a Registered Nurse in the State of
Ohio.
Tolerate intermittent physical activity including walking, standing,
sitting, lifting and supporting of patients.

Board of Commissioners seek a full-time and intermittent Hospital Aide for

Responsibilities: Assist residents with personal hygiene,

Transit Bus Driver
Part-Time
The Medina County Board of
Commissioners seek part time Bus Driver for Medina County
Public Transit.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operates a passenger/paratransit
bus on deviated route and/or demand response basis. Maintains records,
logs, and reports. Will be required to operate wheelchair lift and tie
downs. Ensures safety of bus and passengers by enforcing rules of conduct
and operation. Performs pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify
damaged or defective equipment and cleans vehicle.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid
Commercial Drivers License (CDL)
Class C with passenger endorsement or ability to obtain passenger
endorsement within 3 months of employment.
The successful
candidate must pass a background check, drivers abstract, ODOT physical
and drug screen.
Hours:
Varied depending on need. Must be available Monday thru Saturday
6am
to 7:30pm .
Wage: $11.36/hour
